In this book series, Prof. Dr. Ali Arslan's travels to 42 countries on 4 continents and his sociological observations and comments on these travels are described. The first 15 books describe his consecutive 2-month trips to Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Qatar in 2018. The following books cover his observations and comments on countries he had previously visited on various occasions, such as America, England, Germany, France, Poland, Belgium, Austria, Czechia, Bulgaria and Greece. When the world-famous traveler Ibn-i Battuta went to Morocco, he was told with a joke, “You are the Ibn-i Battuta of our day.” This study, inspired by this, includes travels and observations in a wide geographical area, and is integrated with the memoirs of the famous traveler Ibn-i Battuta and the famous traveler Evliya Çelebi, who is also world-famous and well-known to Turkish readers. In this book series written with a scientific style and sociological perspective, you will have the opportunity to examine the knowledge and comments obtained in 42 countries.

The Saudi Arabia book is the first book in the series. Going to Saudi Arabia means something very different to going to other places for Muslims. When Muslims go there, they do not go there only for touristic purposes. They also fulfill a religious duty. The presence of the Kaaba in Mecca and the tomb of the Prophet (pbuh) in Medina gives this country a special meaning. Due to these two holiest places, the Harameyn is also called the “Two Holy Mosques.” In the introduction of the book, academic information in the context of Daily Life Sociology is given, then Prof. Dr. Ali Arslan's experiences in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah, Mecca and Medina as countries during Umrah, his sociological observations and evaluations are presented. The book is followed by other countries in the series.
