E wandering sailor Ishmael and his voyage on the whaleship Pequod which is commanded by Captain Ahab. Ishmael discovers that Ahab's aim is to find only one specific whale, Moby Dick, a white whale of tremendous size. Only few whaleships have managed to encounter Moby Dick. When Captain Ahab first encounters Moby Dick, the whale destroys Ahab's boat and bites off his leg. Ahab plans to get revenge. Will he be able to find Moby Dick and kill it, or will he allow it to live freely?
