This book is produced from PhD thesis “Public Management Reform Experience of Türkiye; Effective Factors on the Administrative Reform Process of Türkiye in the Period of 1980-2010”, submitted to the University of Southampton. It gives me great pleasure in expressing my gratitude to all those people who have supported me and had their contributions in making this thesis possible. Foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my advisor Prof Gerry Stoker for the continuous support for my PhD study and research, for his patience, motivation, enthusiasm, and immense knowledge. This thesis would not have been possible without the help, support and patience of my principal supervisor. It has been an honour to be his Ph.D. student. The good advice, support and patience of my previous second supervisor, Prof Bernard Harris, has also been invaluable on the development of both my academic career and scientific stance, for which I am extremely grateful. Their guidance helped me in all the time of research and writing of this thesis. I could not have imagined having a better advisor and mentor team for my PhD study. Although we have been able to work only in the last year of my study, I also acknowledge the help, support and useful comments of Dr Ingi Iusmen.
